What is Yoga?

Yoga is a complete science of life that aims to connect the body and mind and bring harmony through postures (asanas) as well as pranayama (breathing) and meditation.

What are the benefits of yoga?

The benefits of yoga are endless. The postures (asanas) act on all parts of the body; they tone the muscles, stretch the skeleton, and also have an effect on the glands and nerves, etc. By releasing physical and mental tension, asanas release large energy resources. Practised regularly, yoga brings mental calm, a good level of vitality and great inner peace. Pranayama (breathing) purifies and revitalises the body, calms the emotions, soothes and enables great mental clarity.
