As previously announced, the resort of Val Thorens will be open from November 28th. Thanks to the recent snowfall, we look set to enjoy a phenomenal start to the season. Calling all snowsports fans; join us to celebrate the resort opening.

Raring to go, desperate to hit the slopes… #WantToSki Now?

Well, we’ve got some good news for you! Thanks to the recent snowfall (50 cm at 2,300 metres and 70 cm at 3,200 metres), the drop in temperature and the work carried out on the slopes by our ski area maintenance teams, we’re thrilled to be able to offer you a nice warm up to the season with the first slopes and ski lifts opening tomorrow, Wednesday 25th November.

Planned openings for the ski area on Friday (27th Nov.) :
Voie Lactée, Roc, grenouilère, Campagnols, Musaraigne, Ardoises, Dalles, Blueuets, 2 Combes, Lac Blanc, Béranger bas, Cairn, Traversée des 2 Lacs, Combe de Thorens, Linotte, Fond.
Planned ski lift openings (Friday 27th Nov.):

Tapis Castor & Pollux, Musaraigne, Campagnols, Tk du Roc
Funitel de Péclet
Tsd des Cascades, 2 Lacs, Portette, Moutière

Planned openings for the ski area on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th Nov. :
Opening Val Thorens : 28th November

Wednesday 25/11 - ski for the set price of 15 euros for the whole day
Thursday (26/11) and Friday (27/11) 50% off the 1 day and half day official public price. (no discounted multi-day price available)

Ski pass sales outlet and information point opening times for 25th, 26th and 27th November 2015:
- Péclet Funitel ski pass sales outlet open from 8.45am to 4.30pm + 2 self-service ski pass distributors open from 8.45am to 4.30pm
- Le Forum ski pass sales outlet open from 8.45am to4.30pm + 1 self-service ski pass distributor open from 7.30am to 10.30pm and 1 self-service ski pass distributor open from 8.30am to 4.30pm

So, who’s going to be first on the slopes?
More info regarding the opening of the ski area from Saturday 28th November will be available from Thursday (and there might be a surprise or two in store if the weather allows… But ssssh, it’s a secret!).
