Ideally located at the foot of the slopes, a short walk from the village of Val Thorens, Altapura offers a Nordic style setting designed for the comfort of skiers in an exceptional spot facing the snow.

Generous and elegant volumes recall the panache of the great palaces with a Nordic chic setting and a design centred on the nobility of wood and stone. Altapura plays up the contrasts between a hushed atmosphere and a festive cosmopolitan atmosphere.

From the sweet serenity of your room or spa to the friendly conversations in the restaurants, lounges or south-facing terrace, you will enjoy every moment of your stay.

Altapura's 61 rooms and 27 suites immerse you in a world of softness and lightness. Large windows with views of the snow-covered Alps, harmony between light-coloured wood and warm fabrics with peppy notes (berry red, mandarin orange, anise green or ice blue), a line of custom-designed furniture, a comfortable bed, bathrooms in mineral tones with a spacious shower and bathtub - your room is like a cocoon of wellness!

Children feel happy at Altapura. What with the outdoor pool under the snowflakes and the  kids corner, they soon adopt the place. And of course, they love making new friends in the Kids Club, an area fully dedicated to children, and comparing their day's exploits, playing games

from the Kid's Concierge and having dinner with their best friends at the "Children's Table"!

In perfect harmony with today’s environmental expectations, the building is covered with solar panels.

Altapura's magic also lies in its decision to include new technologies in the heart of its upscale world. From interactive touch screens to Iphone/Ipod docking stations and the Mac Mini in rooms, you have access to information and you can share information thanks to these high-tech terminals. Free Wifi in the hotel.

Altapura offers 3 restaurants : a chic mountain-style brasserie, Les Enfants Terribles, 2.Mille.3 proposing a international cuisine and a convivial show cooking concept and a restaurant specialized in fondue, La Laiterie.

The hotel proposes also a space where you can hire your ski equipment and a spa Pure Altitude of 1000m² with sauna, hammam, igloo, fitness area and indoor/outdoor swimming pool.
