Restaurant Jean Sulpice **

Located in Val Thorens, in the heart of the 3 Vallées ski resort, the Jean Sulpice restaurant peaks at over 2,300 meters in altitude An exceptional setting where gastronomy is accessible not only by car or on foot but also by ski from Courchevel, Méribel and Les Ménuires or by link from Orelle.

Jean Sulpice, originally from Savoie in eastern France, grew up with nature that over time fuelled his signature.  Pioneer of 'high altitude gastronomy', this two-star chef is above all a fervent defender of local produce. His credo: get back to basics. Resulting from a walk, a smell, a meeting or a trip, his every dish tells a story. Jean Sulpice showcases nature through a love for healthy, inventive, authentic and subtle cuisine.

A world you can also discover in his book, D’un Hiver à l’autre, published by Glénat. And for nature lovers, chef Jean Sulpice takes you on a journey to discover wild plants and herbs in his latest book, L’assiette sauvage, published by Le Cherche-midi Editeur. A poetic and gourmet culinary tour not to be missed!

Gault&Millau d'Or Rhône Alpes 2013, Jean Sulpice is also a Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux.
