Improvement on the Orelle/Val Thorens connexion
The Orelle/Val Thorens connexion has been improved thanks to important terrain works which have been done on the Rosaël pass. This connexion is now ensured thanks to the construction of a red slope, "le Chamois", much easier than the red slope earlier on.

Situated in the Maurienne Valley, between Saint-Michel de Maurienne and Modane, at 6 km from the motorway, the Orelle Gondola enables a quick and easy access to the Val Thorens and 3 Vallées ski areas. Moreover, Orelle now offers its own skiing area thanks to the Peyron and the Bouchet chairlifts which give access to 3 runs. The access to Orelle from Val Thorens is also improved by the opening of the Grand Fond Funitel.
