THE BIKE PARK
Val Thorens inaugurate its new Bike Park. This complex of more than 3 km is made of 4 zones and includes more than 25 modules (Gap bridges, Wall ride, Volcano box, North-shore…)
Every week is the occasion to measure ones talent during the amateur competitions organized in the Bike Park with prizes for the best riders.
TARIFFS :
- Free access to the modules 7/7.
- Free access to the ski lift (Caron and Cairn cable car from monday to friday : 10am to 4.20pm) with the Multiloisirs card.
- 4 € per passage for the non holders of the card.
- Free bike washing with self-service stations, at the bottom of the Enduro zone.
Possibility to go to St Martin (17kms downhill) through the Boulevard Cumin (MTB path n°16). Free shuttle to come back (timetables available et the tourist office).
Boardercross Zone
Large and faster pist, allowing to ride several bikes abreast, big banked turns, bumps, lights drops
Slope style dominant zone
A blue track, sinuous, using the elements of the relief. A red track : wall-ride, drop bridges, bridges, north-shore, bumps, banked turns…
Big Air bag zone
Try a secure jump with your bike ! The landing is done on a « shock absorbing stunt man’s » mattress.
Practice park zone
Fun and educational, this zone allows you to work on your technic and discover new sensations. Modules : classical bridges, drop, skinny, banked turns, whoops….
Enduro zone
Single-track using the elements of the relief. Few wooden layouts liven up the route and offer funnier or more engaged passages.
