After 10 days of competitions and 27,438 votes from 64 different countries, European Best Destinations 2014 has delivered its verdict!
Val Thorens has won a new accolade taking home the title of Best European ski resort 2014!
This continental reward is new recognition for the resort's major players but also for the entire Val Thorens community!

With more than 3,000 shares, thousands of comments and tweets, and forty articles, the social networks were really buzzing! The Val Thorens community played a major part in this result with more than 4,500 votes!

"European Best Destinations" is a Brussels-based not-for-profit European organisation that aims to promote culture and tourism in Europe. In partnership with the major European tourist offices it works to promote the richness, diversity and quality of Europe's various destinations.
Aimed at an audience of E-citizens, European Best Destinations plays an important role in promoting Europe as the world's number 1 destination.
Since 2009, EBD has been working with the major European tourist offices to promote and highlight the 20 destinations voted the best by travellers through its website and various social networks (www.europeanbestdestinations.org).
