Easy access to the magnificent mountain bike descents and treks, from the easiest to the most vertiginous.

Saint Martin - Les Menuires - Val Thorens " VTT/FFC area " (mountain bike area designated by the French Cycling Federation). 21 itineraries for all levels, a total of 120 km, are marked and sign posted. Situated near the resorts and the village of Saint Martin, alongside the rivers, along the mountain sides or on the crests, they wind their way throughout the whole of the Vallée des Belleville. The "Evasion 3 Vallées" pass lets you use the Vallée des Belleville ski lifts (Saint Martin, Les Menuires, Val Thorens excluding the summer skiing lifts), as well as those of the Méribel and Courchevel valleys.

A walking and mountain bike path map is available at the Tourist Offices, the Guides' Offices and in the local shops. For your safety, make sure that you chose an itinerary which suits your standard and don't hesitate to ask for advice from the professionals.

Don't forget, this summer, Val Thorens hosts one of the mythical events of the Marathon Moutain Bike Downhill: The Maxiavalanche, Pro-Am competition (July26th and 27th)
