In Val Thorens, parents still get to have some ‘me’ time, whilst their little ones are well cared for.
There’s a child-care facility to suit all ages, from 3 months upwards: a crèche, day nursery and ski kindergarten! Each one offers games and activities to allow your little ones to get used to the snow.
From the age of 3, children can start to learn to ski! Beginners sessions in a specially designed area enable children to gain confidence through fun exercises!

Yeah, the babysitter’s here! This evening, the kids are doing their own thing: making the biggest snowman in the whole resort, watching a funny clown show and eating raclette for dinner back in the apartment!
As for the parents, they’re off to watch a concert before they enjoy an evening just the two of them in one of the resort’s 50 different restaurants.
From nightfall, the resort has many eye-catching shows in store. From the traditional torchlit descent carried out by the instructors to the multi-coloured firework displays, not forgetting the unusual sound and light entertainments (surprise!), a thousand and one lights seem to come out of nowhere, casting their spell.
On Wednesdays it’s time for the kids to have a go! Kitted out with skis and frontal torches, they whizz down the Voie Lactée run ‘just like the grown’ups’, creating a dazzling ‘conga-effect’ in front of amazed parents...
