The Luge Courses (Caron Place and Le Toboggan)

* For the little ones (over two years old):
Sliding, gliding, falling, laughing, smiling, playing – unbridled fun surrounds this fully-secured, kids-only sledging area. Its location in the heart of the village suits parents just fine as they can stop for an ‘adult’ break in one of the surrounding bar-terraces without losing sight of their kids…


* A unique sledding experience: the Toboggan for kids from 5-88.
For those kids 5 and over who want a little bit more of a rush, France’s longest luge course awaits: the Toboggan. Are you brave enough to dare it?

6km long – and with its start zone located at the foot of the imposing Peclet Glacier at 3000m -- the playful Toboggan course features banked turns and variously angled pitches. In the same way as a well-maintained highway, the course is patrolled and groomed regularly each day.

Accessible from the Peclet Funitel, this activity is suitable to both adults and children over 5 years of age (children 5-10 ride tandem with an adult).

You can rent a luge, a helmet and a headlamp (for evening sliding) at the Toboggan Chalet

The Toboggan is open daily as well as three evenings a week (wednesday, thursday and friday). Prices start at 12 € for the day (if you already have a ski pass) and 18,50 € for the evening.

The Aquaclub

Numerous and varied activities for young and old.

Children, accompanied by their parents, can enjoy the different elements: swimming pool, fun-hydro pool (jets, waterfalls ….), paddling pool, Jacuzzis. Activities for children from six months old are organized by swimming instructors throughout the week : baby swimmers, aquatikid, aquateen, aquagym, adventure challenges, private lessons ….

Bowling

Tired of making all those ski turns? Try a straight line for a change and go for a strike! The bowling alley features eight child-friendly lanes (for ages 6 and over), two billiard rooms (American pool and snooker), one games room (for both kids and adults), a sports library, and a sports bar with a giant video screen. Open until 2:00 in the morning…

Library

Just another escape…

Located in Val Thorens House, and open on Mondays and Fridays all winter from 15:00 to 16:00, the library offers a wide range of books for all ages and tastes (for children and blind as well). Free admission and no-charge lending.
