Published the 27 March 2014

Hello everyone, welcome to the 27th of march snow report. As nobody volunteered to present this snow report, it's me again... I count on you for next week guys!

As you can see, sunny weather today with a little bit of wind and warmer temperatures. Tomorrow will be also sunny with some very rare clouds, the temperature is also going up to -2 to -4°C expected during the day.

Concerning the week-end the weather will be generally sunny, warmer temperatures and a bit of wind from the south. Sunday might be a bit more cloudy. Sunny weather will extend to beginning of next week. The bad weather returns is expected on Wednesday.

On the snow side we have 2.50m of snow at the top of the pists and 1.40m in the resort. The snow is excellent quality and fresh. The avalanche risk is 2 out of 5, this is limited risk.

In Val Thorens, the Festi'Val Tho is still here today. You are welcome to join us at the Chalet de Thorens or Place Caron today with Joachim Garraud playing for you. This weekend you can't miss the French Skicross champion ship on Val Thorens's boardercross. The 3 French Olympics medalists including our champion from Val Thorens Jean-Frédéric Chapuis.
