[Snow Report] 5 Dec. 2013

Published the 05 December 2013

Hello everyone and welcome to Val Thorens, for this third snow report. Today it is Thursday, December 5th, and as you can see behind me, the weather is beautiful. Tomorrow, Friday December 6th, we expect some snow, and the cold weather will be back for the weekend. However, for the next week we expect beautiful weather!

Concerning the snow conditions, we currently have 65cm on the spot and 105cm at 3200 meters height. Almost all the lifts and ski areas are open! The avalanche risk is 2/5.

Some news: this weekend is the opening of 3 Valley ski area! And the mythic Trophée Andros will take place this week-end in Val Thorens. So let's meet on the ice track "Alain Prost" to see a lot of famous drivers! We hope to see you there, have a nice week!

Remember that this is just a forecast: weather and snow conditions can change quickly.
Ask for information before you go riding.
