[Snow Report] 6 March 2014

Published the 06 March 2014

Hello everyone, here we go for the 6th march snow report. As you can see, this is a beautiful day and it will be the same for the following days. We are expecting some clouds next Monday in the afternoon but globally it will also be a beautiful day. So sunny sky and excellent snow.

The weather will be sunny the whole week with a north wind. The temperatures are increasing, 0°C is expected at 3000 meters at the end of the week.

There are 2.55m of snow at the top of the slopes and 1.55m in the resort. Although be careful because higher temperatures means the avalanche risk is higher so do not leave the slopes. Today the avalanche risk is 3 out of 5, this is a considerable risk.

Also do not forget to protect yourself with sun cream because the sun his here as the risk of getting sun burns!

Today's bonus : I haven't mentioned yet, but we have an article on Val Thorens's blog about it : the application "my ski+" . This is Val Thorens's app that can help you comparing your performances, to take up challenges and have fun with your friends. You will know the variation in level you did, your speed... So see you soon on Val Thorens's application .
