Respect Festival Tour

24th and 25th february 2008

As part of its environmental concern, Val Thorens hosts a stage of the Respect Festival Tour organised by the Mountain Riders Association. Two days of making people more aware of sustainable resources, eco-citizenship and responsible tourism.

The Respect Festival Tour's aim is to make holiday makers and mountain tourist professionals more aware of the issues using 4 methods :

- The Village : educational entertainment given by the participating associations, professionals and companies (access from 14h to 22h) ... with a bio bar !

- Conferences, debates and open air film shows with specialists

- Introduction, entertainment and competitions with snow sports (Bank Slalom)

- A concert to give the event a festive note, with bio beer, of course !

(glissemagTV online web TV live from the Lutins Bleus concert, on this page Sunday at 7 pm)

The Respect Festival Tour takes into account all the environmental parameters linked to the organisation of such and event, so as to reduce its impact on the environment : transport (car sharing), waste (rubbish seperations, waste compactors, pocket ash trays), documents use recycled paper with vegetable ink ...
