Competitions :

- SFR Freeskiing Tour : Slope Style in the categories men, women and kids.

- Participation by the leaders in the discipline : Aurélien Fornier (Title Holder), Vanessa Coletta (3rd in the Nippon Open 2007), Guillaum Sbrava (French Champion 2006), Loïc Collomb Patton (4th in the X-Games 2006) and the young prodigy Thomas Krief (14 years old).

- Pro-Am Snowboard contest : Snowboard Slope Style competition between amateurs and pros. Attention : 30 000 € prize money !

- "Chill and Destroy Contest" Ski and Snowboard : 5th anniversary of this European Tour comes to France with boardercross and slope style competitions for the 10 to 30 year olds.

Freestyle shows :

- Freestyle Motorcross Show, Ski and snowboard :

The best FMX European riders will be in Val Thorens, including one of the most important : the Frenchman Gérald Sanfilippo. A magnificent aerial ballet in persepective !

- Rossignol Demo Tour :

7th edition of this French tour. Tests of new equipment and star demos with Manu Gaidet.

 

Snow sports :

- Ski & Boarderweek Village :

Free tests of the 2007-2008 equipment and discovery of new activities with, this year, demonstrations and introduction to bungie jumping and Jump'Air.

Daily entertainment with DJs and groups on the piste in front of the Groove Bar.

- Easy Fun Park - Learn to ride .....

Mini snowpark with rails and modules allowing amateurs to do their first freestyle figures helped by the pros.

- Snowkite

This traction sport is done on skis or on a snowboard with an ultra light sail developped by young riders who were looking for new experiences. Introductions, presentation stand, demos and pro advice in the village Accessible to everyone...

 

Music :

"Uncommonmenfrommars" : the unforgettable concert !

The three brothers, Daf, Trint and Ed play contemporary "garage" rock. On the programme, energetic punk rock on the edge of the piste at an altitude of 2300 metres !
