The Fitz Roy - **** Hotel
The Fitz Roy, the only 4 star hotel in Val Thorens, is part of the exclusively 4 star hotel group Luxury Mountains Hotels. Since its purchase of the Fitz Roy, LMH has undertaken renovation work of the hotel.
This has continued and this winter provides 16 new luxury rooms, increasing the hotel's capacity to welcome a clientele of refined hedonists.

 

Ski area
The 6 seater Cairn and Caron gondolas are replaced this year by two 8-seater cable cars which allow skis to be carried inside. Three out of the four stations are automatic. The new machines practically double turnover and the modern architectural stations offers services such as toilets, escalators, waiting rooms, exhibitions, ticket sales points... Special facilities available for transporting beginners and handicapped people.

 

L'Oxalys - **** Chalet Residence
L'Oxalys, flagship of the 4 star chalet residences, extends its offer with 11 extremely spacious new apartments and duplexes (an extra 54 tourist beds). In addition to the existing relaxation centre which already gives free access to a swimming pool, saunas, a hammam and jacuzzi, L'Oxalys opens a SPA area with a massaging jet pool, a water massage bed and body treatments.

 

Tobogganing area
Slides, falls and shouts of laughter liven up the new toboggan area, completely safe and reserved for children (from the age of 2). Its ideal situation in the heart of the resort will delight parents who can enjoy a "restful" moment on the nearby terraces.
