Rules of behaviour on the runs

Respect of others :
Run users must behave in such a way that they don't endanger others or harm them by their behaviour or equipment.

Control of speed and behaviour :
All run users must adapt their speed and their behaviour to their personal capacities as well as to the general conditions of the ground and of the weather, the snow and the traffic density.

Choice of direction by the uphill skier :
The skier who is uphill is in a better position to choose his path. He must thus make this choice so that downhill skiers are in no danger.

Overtaking :
Overtaking must always be done in such a way as to respect the overtaken skier.

At the crossing of runs or on departure :
After stopping or before crossing slopes, run users must check uphill and downhill for their own safety and for the safety of others.

Stopping :
All users must avoid stopping in narrow passages or in passages where visibility is bad. In case of a fall, they must leave the run as fast as possible.

Uphill or downhill walks :
Any user who has to walk up or down a run must use the side of the run and make sure that he or his gear are not a danger for others.

Respect of information, of signs and sign-posting :
The user must respect information about hte weather, the runs and the snow. He must respect signs and sign-posting.

Strictly forbidden to use the pylon protections mattresses as sledges. It's extremely dangerous !

Assistance :
Any witness of an accident must give assistance, in particular by giving the alert. In case of need, he must be at the disposal of the ski patrol.

Identification :
Any witness of an accident must give his identity to the ski patrol and/or to a third party.
