Val Thorens is above all heaven on earth as it comes to skiing or snowboarding. Thanks to the outstanding snow conditions and the relief, any kind of level will be able to express himself : rather or very easy around the resort, and getting more difficult as you reach the tops.

It's also the choice between 3 different ski areas :

- Val Thorens and Orelle (140 km of marked runs)
- The Vallée des Belleville (300 km of marked runs)
- the 3 Vallées (600 km of marked runs).


Val Thorens also gives you the guarantee of outstanding snow conditions thanks to the altitude (99 percent of the Val Thorens ski area is situated above 2.000 meters) and an impressive amount of snow cannons (1500 on the whole 3 Vallées area).

Skiing more than 6 months a year :
Fall skiing on the Péclet glacier from 17th November 2007, winter skiing from December to March, spring skiing from April till 4th May 2008...
