Total reconstruction of the Val Thorens Sports Center Until December 2022
The Val Thorens Sports Centre will be under construction this summer and until December 2022 to offer you a new complex that will meet your expectations, consisting of :
- An aquatic and well-being area
- A sports and leisure complex
- A roof entertainment area
- A conference centre and several seminar halls
- Panoramic terraces
This summer, some activities will be closed in Val Thorens but accessible, without change of conditions, in Les Menuires. At 15 minutes by inter-resort shuttle, included with the "Passeport Ascensionnel", you will be able to take advantage of the pools, Spa, Fun Park, weight rooms, fitness and our 2 Wellness & Massage areas.

Shops and services open this summer in Val Thorens
Lifts open this summer
Access to the lifts is from Monday to Friday, from 5 July to 27 August. The lifts are not open at weekends.
Cime Caron is accessible from Monday to Friday from the resort via th Cairn and Caron cable cars and the Caron cable car.
Where can I buy my pedestrian or mountain bike pass?
At the Cairn/Caron gondola ticket offices open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.
For holders of the "Passeport Ascensionnel", access to all the lifts in the Vallée des Belleville (Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens) is free.
Do I need a health pass to access the ski lifts?
For this summer, it will not be necessary to present a health pass to access the ski lifts. However, you must still wear a mask.
Lifts open in Val Thorens from Monday to Friday
- Cairn cable car: 10am - 3.10pm
- Caron gondola: 10am - 3.20pm
- La Moutière chairlift: 10am - 4pm
- La Cime Caron cable car: 10.15am - 3.30pm
