During your stroll in the Vallée des Belleville, you will see numerous high mountain pasture chalets and you will be able to taste traditional home made cheese (tommes, séracs).
The Chalet d'Alpage "'Chez Pépé Nicolas", located between the Menuires and Val Thorens, at the start of the du Lac du Lou walk, is proposing to participate at the milking of the cows and goats.
All day long, you can familiarize with the animals (goats, cows, pigs, ducks, chickens, donkeys, trout, rabbits, etc.), ask your questions and enjoy the warm atmosphere of the alpage. The chalet is open everyday from 8 am to 10 pm. Goats milking from 3.30 pm following by cows milking. Possibility to eat on the premises.
Not to be missed: The permaculture garden.
On 2000 m2 you will be able to see a multitude of vegetables, aromatic plants, edible flowers etc.
