During your stroll in the Vallée des Belleville, you will see numerous high mountain pasture chalets and you will be able to taste traditional home made cheese (tommes, séracs).
The Chalet d'Alpage "'Chez Pépé Nicolas", located between the Menuires and Val Thorens, at the start of the du Lac du Lou walk, is proposing to participate at the milking of the cows and goats as well as the manufacturing of the Tomme de savoie.
All day long, you can familiarize with the animals, ask your questions and enjoy the warm atmosphere of the alpage. The chalet is open everyday from 5AM to 10PM. Goats milking from 3.30PM, manufacturing of the tomme around 4.30PM and cows milking. Possibility to eat on the premises.
