Freeride World Tour – Val Thorens Pro

The Freeride World Tour sets up shop in Val Thorens and returns to France after 8 years of absence!
The highest resort in Europe will host a stage of the 2025 edition of the Freeride World Tour, an event symbolizing excellence in the world of freeride.

Due to its privileged location at an altitude of 2m, Val Thorens and its emblematic Cime Caron, is an exceptional playground for competitors, combining technical challenges and breathtaking panoramas.

This unique French stage will also be the only one accessible by ski lift via the Cime Caron cable car.

The riders will start their descent at an altitude of 3 meters and will descend to 105 meters, a vertical drop of more than 2 meters.

The face taken will offer steep lines with an average slope of 32 degrees, which will allow for fast and technical riding.

With its ridge lines, its corridors and its very open sections, Val Thorens promises to push athletes to their limits in this new edition of the Freeride World Tour circuit.
