Late afternoon on Sunday 10th May 2015, the Peclet Funitel lift station will close its doors for the last time this season. After 6 months non-stop, their heads filled with memories, stories and emotions, Gérard, Julie, Noémie, Jules... and all the ski resort teams will see the season draw to an end.

But let’s go back to the start…170 days ago, after 6 months without snowsports, on November 22nd 2014 you came out in force to join us in the Peclet Funitel after a much awaited countdown! The ski season had finally started again.

So many magical memories! From the Ski Force Winter Tour to New Year’s Eve, not forgetting the Skicross World Cup; some 38 events that have thrilled snowsports fans from more than 54 different countries! At an altitude of 2 300 meters, multi-culturalism and diversity are well and truly entrenched in our DNA: United Nations of Val Thorens!

How many fits of giggles, intense emotions, shared experiences… ? Hundreds? Thousands? Maybe millions! Happiness knows no bounds.

A big thank you to you all, snowsports fans, resort professionals and Val Thorens stalwarts! Together we make up the Val Thorens community, together we share the Live United state of mind!

Cross my heart and hope to die, we’ll be together again next season!
