Val Thorens is proud of its champions, Chloé Trespeuch, Jean-Frédéric Chapuis and Adrien Théaux! Back from their various championships, which saw the international competing élite come together, our Val Thorens skiers stood out from the crowd!
After taking home an Olympic bronze medal for snowboardcross from Sotchi last year, Chloé recently won silver medal at the 2015 Winter Universiades in Granada (Spain)!
Let’s not forget that Chloé and her brother Léo were also chosen to be standard-bearers for the French delegation during the opening ceremony.
What’s next? The American stage of the World Cup in Squaw Valley, from March 5th.
World Champion in 2013 and Olympic Champion in 2014, Jean-Fred has just added a new title to his incredible list of achievements: vice World ski cross Champion in Kreischberg (Austria)!
Having totted up 207 points, Jean-Fred is now 2nd in the World Cup general rankings and is bang on track for a Crystal Globe Award by the end of the winter;). Don’t miss his performance in Are (Sweden) from February 13th to 15th, and in Tegernsee (Germany), from February 20th to 22nd.
Taking part in the Super G on the famous Birds of Prey course in Beaver Creek (USA), Adrien hoped to bring home a medal, and he didn’t disappoint: he came in 3rd place just behind Reichelt and Cook. Adrien and his supporters were thrilled with his bronze win!
Finishing 8th in the downhill two days later, the World Championships were a great succes for Adrien. What’s next for him? He’ll be continuing with the World Cup in Saalbach (Austria) from February 19th.
Val Thorens is proud of its champions! Congratulations for these amazing results and we wish the three of you much success for the rest of the season :-)
