Our GoPro HERO10s and their accessories are our most faithful allies throughout the season!

Whether it's to film a powder snowfall, make a timelapse at night, take you with us on the slopes, behind the scenes of an event or make you experience an activity as if you were there, they are always with us!

So without further ado, here is a selection of our 5 favourite GoPro accessories.

No. 1: The 3-Way 2.0

This is one of the most versatile accessories in the GoPro range as it can be used as a grip, an articulated arm and also a tripod.

It allows you to capture 2 out of 4 perspectives: still shots thanks to the tripod mode and hand-held shots thanks to the handle and the articulated arm.

As a bonus, the 3-Way 2.0, unlike the 3-Way 1.0, allows you to add the mouth attachment and thus have 3 perspectives out of 4 for an even more complete setup!

The integrated head on the 2.0 version also allows you to tilt the camera to film vertical content, a real plus for sharing our videos on social networks.

As you can see, the 3-Way 2.0 is for us the essential accessory that accompanies us on all our outings!

No. 2:  Curved and flat adhesive mounts (helmet clip)

Adhesive mounts are one of the most common GoPro accessories for skiers and snowboarders. In fact, they come with all our ski helmets!

They are particularly interesting in terms of perspective, with shots that can be different depending on whether you turn your head, raise it...

So this is another essential GoPro accessory for skiing but not only!

No. 3: The small mount for handlebars, seatpost and pole

At GoPro, there are two types of tube mounts: a small mount for handlebars, seatpost and pole, and a large mount for roll bars, pipes and more.

In Val Thorens, we particularly appreciate the small mount that we put on our ski poles.

This attachment allows you to film yourself while skiing down the slopes, but can also be used as a pole to follow a skier or take a selfie with friends on the slopes!

No. 4: The Enduro rechargeable battery

This new battery features technology that dramatically improves the performance of the GoPro HERO9 Black and HERO10 in cold weather. It is an ideal battery for winter sports and therefore one of our favourite accessories this season in Val Thorens!

In particular, it has revolutionised our night-time timelapses by braving the Valthorinois cold.

As a bonus, this battery charges up to 13% faster than standard GoPro batteries.

Because the slopes don't wait, fast charging is a real plus for us :D

No. 5: The chesty

You have probably already seen it in our photos and videos! This winter, we used it to make the Cosmojet toboggan and to take you with us in our new activity: snowtubing.

The chesty is perfect for making immersive images while having your hands free and enjoying a descent on skis, snow, luge, buoy... it's up to you!

As a bonus

Because we are nice people and, let's face it, we had a bit of trouble choosing 5 accessories, we also wanted to tell you about the dual battery charger which allows you to charge 2 batteries at the same time so that you can get back on the Val Tho ski area :)

With the dual battery charger + the enduro battery, we have the perfect combo to be sure to always have a charged battery at hand!
