Cuiss'O Resto is a friendly ski touring competition organized by the Mountain United section of the Sports Club of Val Thorens.
Nicknamed "the fork race", the goal is to get your fork to the summit in order to be able to enjoy a good meal in a high altitude chalet.
Open to all audiences, beginners, amateurs, competitors, there is no pressure because although the ski touring climb is timed for those who wish, there is no ranking.
No podium, no stress, only fun!
2 formulas are available:
– The 350 range (approximately 30 minutes of ascent)
– The 600 fork (approximately 1h30 of climbing)
All followed by a good meal in a mountain restaurant.
It is also possible to participate only in the dry climb (without the meal).
Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Dates:
– Wednesday January 24, 2024: meal at the Auberge des Balcons
– Wednesday February 28, 2024: meal at Caribou (climb Col de Thorens)
– Wednesday March 20, 2024: meal at Chalet des 2 Lacs (Grand Fond summit)
– Wednesday April 24, 2024: meal at Chalets de Thorens (Funitel de Peclet)
