The French government announced a national lockdown until December 15th. This lockdown does not allow us to open Val Thorens and its ski area.
Following the President's speech on November 24, the details of Val Thorens' opening should be clear in the next few days.
We will keep you informed of the situation's evolution on this page, as well as on our social media channels.
We are ready to welcome you as soon possible, while respecting the sanitary conditions. With all of our know-how, our motivation and our desire, we'll be there besides all tourism stakeholders.

I booked a trip to Val Thorens for the period after the lockdown, what do I do?
We are waiting for new government announcements that will allow us to fix an opening date for the resort.
What are the government's rules about refunds deadlines?
We don’t have this information at this point, the info will be communicated on a national level and we will know more in the next few weeks.
Will La Grande Première and the High Test by Decathlon be postponed?
At this moment we don’t have the answer to this, we will communicate as soon as the decision is taken.
I would like to be reimbursed for my ski pass / ski activities.

The product is still being manufactured, we will keep you informed of your order. Shipments are currently scheduled for the second half of November.

We have to wait for the prefectoral decrees, but sportive outings in the ski area were not allowed during the Spring lockdown.

2 – Are you travelling to Val Thorens? You too are an actor in the Clean United Label
For “Clean United” to work, you, the traveller, must also follow a number of rules. Today, in France, wearing a mask is compulsory in all places open to the public (including Péclet and Caron shopping centres). We ask you to respect this, as well as the other measures to help control the virus (washing hands regularly and keeping a distance).
