Category 1 Tourist Office class

Val Thorens Tourist Office was awarded category 1 status in April 2016, the national classification's highest level. A category 1 award recognises the quality and services we provide.

Quality Tourism Label

With the aim of improving and ensuring continuity of service, Val Thorens Tourist Office is part of a state-recognised quality monitoring scheme and was awarded the Quality Tourism label in February 2019. Through this label, the Tourist Office commits to providing each of the resort's clients, seasonal workers and socio-professionals with the very best services. In addition to this commitment, this scheme helps our destination continuously reflect on and improve what we do, and our values as a resort.

The Family Plus Label

The resort of Val Thorens been labelled Family Plus for several years. Every 3 years, audit-inspections are carried out to ensure that the resort has maintained its high standard of family welcome. This label guarantees a spacially adapted, personalised welcome for fantastic family holidays.

Belleville Valley Quality Accommodation Label

This label is unique to the Bellville Valley, categorising furnished tourist apartments on a scale of 1 to 5 snowflakes. The aesthetic, style and harmony are each judged using 3 colour categories: bronze, silver and gold.

Charter for mountain comfort

The resort is committed to putting actions in place and making adjustments so skiing is more easily accessible to people with disabilities (ski lifts, skiing lessons, resort facilities, wheelchair and Massarotti skis available...). Ask the handicap guide at the Tourist Office.
