For more than three decades, many Dutch people have been travelling to Val Thorens at the end of winter for the “Dutchweek” to celebrate their king’s birthday and/or the liberation from World War II. This is a popular event where skiing, snowboarding and partying go hand in hand. So it’s no surprise that the colour orange is in the spotlight!
Dutchweek Travelski
This year, the 33rd edition of Dutchweek Travelski will take place from April 26 to May 3.
Dutchweek Travelski has become the leading family and friendly event in the Netherlands, where every participant can enjoy an exceptional week during the May holidays in the highest ski resort in Europe: Val Thorens !
On the program of Dutchweek Travelski
- Dutch ski and snowboard lessons are offered for children and adults.
- Two children's discos.
- During the day, all kinds of entertainment take place at the high-altitude restaurant Chalet de la Marine, with quizzes and DJ performances.
- You can also test the latest skis, snowboards and equipment at the Test & Ride Center.
- On Monday, the first tracks start at 07:30 a.m. for customers who have booked.
During Dutchweek Travelski, Travelski organizes, especially for its customers, private après-ski on the roof of the Sports Center – Le Board, Place Caron. Parties and shows are also organized in the tent throughout the week!
When booking with Travelski, a bracelet will be included in your package and will give you free access to après-ski evenings and allow you to obtain discounts in the resort's restaurants and supermarkets.

From April 26 to May 2, the Dutchweek Festival takes place in Val Thorens.

Spread across multiple venues—both indoor and outdoor—you'll rock out all week long at a wild party featuring top artists. This year, Bizzey, La Fuente, Mr Belt & Wezol, Joël Borelli, Turfy Gang, Outsiders, and Frans Duijts are on the program!

Closing Sessions at the 360 Bar
The 360 Closing Sessions event is set to return in 2025 at Bar 360 in Val Thorens. After a very successful edition in 2024 and 2023, we are delighted to return with an even more impressive program. More information to come soon…
