During winter, special equipment is required to access Val Thorens. You can equip yourself with:

• Snow tires, also bring snow chains in case of difficult conditions.
• Snow chains on at least two drive wheels.
• Snow socks approved for at least two-wheel drive. Please note, this equipment will not replace snow chains in difficult conditions.

During the winter season and to facilitate snow removal, parking is obligatory in the station car parks.

Remember to reserve your parking space online to save time when you arrive and ensure you have a place in the car park closest to your accommodation.

Once parked in Orelle, access to Val Thorens is possible by ski lifts. To do this, you must take the Orelle gondola, then the Orelle-Caron gondola, the Cime Caron cable car, the Caron gondola and finally the Cairn gondola to arrive in the resort. Val Thorens.
