Family and children's ski passes

À Val Thorens children are pampered, the package is free for children under 5 years old! It must be collected at the ski lift ticket offices with proof of date of birth and a recent ID photo.

Child rates apply for children aged 5 to 12 for the ski areas of Val Thorens-Orelle and the 3 Valleys. Whether you want to buy a 4 hour, 1 day or 6 day package, you will find all the information and prices on our page dedicated to ski passes.

The Family pass

With the Family pass, everyone pays the child rate! The offer is valid for packages of 6 to 21 days and will delight families made up of at least 4 people (2 adults and at least 2 children aged 5 to 17). More information and prices on the page 6 day packages.

Discover the easy rider zones!

To start skiing, 2 areas are accessible free of charge to learn skiing in complete peace of mind:

  • On the Milky Way trail next to the Castor and Pollux carpets
  • On the froggy track next to the Shrew and Vole carpets
     

Once launched, a beginner package EasyRider dedicated 4 hours or 1 day at 50% of the public price will allow you to start exploring the ski area of Val Thorens !

The fun spaces of Val Thorens are the ideal spots for riding with the family. These recently redesigned places will allow children/beginners to progress while having fun! In Val Tho, the lunar land par excellence, budding skiers go into orbit to discover space, the cosmos and the moon.

Learn to ski with the Wingjump wing

Designed like a parachute wing, the Wingjump is worn like a cape hung on the poles. It inflates with speed and provides the skier with light and secure gliding.

A real innovation for learning to ski and in particular the placement of poles!

Lessons are offered by the ski school Cool Skiing.

Children's torchlight descent

ESF torchlight descents – 1st star level


Like adults, children are also entitled to their torchlight descent! Bonus: distribution of HARIBO candies.

Registrations with the ESF, At ... 's house Val Thorens (TOURIST OFFICE). Location: Place Caron. Duration: 45 mins

1st star level required to participate in the descent.

The Cosmojet toboggan run – From 5 years old accompanied by an adult

The famous toboggan run is entirely based on the theme of the universe. Sledders are invited to set off in search of a new land along a 6 km route full of surprises!

La Piste aux Etoiles – Toboggan run

Thanks to the Castor and Pollux carpet, accessible free of charge, go up the slope as many times as you want to hurtle down the track reserved for sleds! First accompanied by mom or dad, then alone like a grown-up, it's a safe bet that your toddler will ask for more!

Track accessible from Place Caron. The toboggan run is secure but unsupervised.
