Discover the longest toboggan run in France!

Get ready for an incredible experience on a marked run in the heart of a magnificent natural valley. All the pleasures of a toboggan run in Savoie over more than 6km, accessible to everyone aged 5 and over.

The fun-filled route combines sharp bends and varied slopes to delight tobogganers.

You'll be able to move with complete confidence in the heart of an exceptional site.

And off you go for 45 minutes of thrills and spills!

After an 8-minute ascent via the Péclet funitel, we set off from the foot of the magnificent Péclet glacier at an altitude of 3,000m.

Tobogganing during the day

Day rates, including sledge, helmet and Péclet lift

  • 19€ for the descent
  • 28€ for 2 runs
  • 38€ for 1 day
  • Free for children aged 5 to 9 on the sled of an adult of legal age
  • The price includes : the loan of the sledge, the loan of the helmet (you can take your own ski helmet if you have one) and the lift via Péclet to the start of the sledge.
  • An identity document must be left as a deposit when collecting the sledge from Chalet Cosmojet. It will be returned to you when you return from the sled.

Daytime booking

You don't need to book your daytime toboggan run in advance. Simply visit the Cosmojet chalet during opening hours to make your descent.

The map below shows how to get to Chalet Cosmojet from Place Caron or Rue du Soleil.

Good to know: If you start from Place Caron, the descent to Chalet Cosmojet is via the Castor & Pollux carpet tunnel. The descent into the tunnel is by foot only, ski boots are not permitted.

Evening rate

  • Even more unusual, even more laughs, even more conviviality, a good idea to end the day with.
  • Price: €28
  • Free for children aged 5 to 9 on the sled of an adult of legal age
  • The price includes : the loan of the sledge, the loan of a helmet (you can take your own ski helmet if you have one), the loan of a headlamp and the lift from Péclet to the start of the sledge.
  • At least 40 participants must be registered for the evening to go ahead.

Evening booking

Unlike sledging during the day, Evening tobogganing must be booked in advance. It must be done on the day itself, at the Chalet Cosmojet, before 3pm.

Good to know: online or telephone booking is not possible. Reservations must be made at Chalet Cosmojet (a map showing pedestrian access to Chalet Cosmojet is available above).

The day :

  • Meet at Chalet Cosmojet, above the Cascades chairlift departure station
  • Buy your tickets
  • Access to the start of the toboggan run is via the Péclet Funitel.
  • Don't forget to smile before you enter the tunnel - you can get your photo back on arrival!

ℹ️ The luge may be closed depending on the weather conditions.

In the evening:

Wednesday to Friday from 5.15pm to 6.30pm, weather permitting.

  • Tickets MUST be purchased and booked on the day in one of our ticket offices.
  • Come to the Cosmojet Chalet from 5.15pm to collect your equipment.
  • To get back to the resort, you can take advantage of the Castor and Pollux carpets, which remain open until 7.45pm from Wednesday to Friday from 14 February.

ℹ️ The evening may be cancelled in the event of adverse weather conditions and tickets may be valid for another evening.


- For your safety, sledging for children under 5 is FORBIDDEN.
- Free for children aged 5 to 9 on the sled of an adult of legal age
- Children alone on a sledge must be at least 9 years old and over 1.25m tall.
- Only SETAM sledges are allowed on this track.
- Everyone MUST wear a helmet and gloves.
- We strongly advise against wearing ski boots.
- For your own safety, do not use your feet to brake.
- Keep safe distances and control your speed.
- Remember that the start is at an altitude of 3,000 m, so make sure you dress warmly.
- The luge may be closed depending on the weather conditions.

In Val Thorens, there's a toboggan run for everyone!

For toddlers aged 2 and over

  • For children aged 2 and over, Space gamesIn the centre of the resort, in Place Caron, there is a free, secure children's area.
  • For older children, La Piste aux EtoilesThe run is 250m long and has a 45m vertical drop, with several sharp bends. Surprise: there's no need to walk back up the hill while pulling your sled, as 2 free covered carpets at the bottom of the run allow you to return effortlessly to the starting point at Place Caron.

Whether you're on your own, with family or friends, whatever your age or ability, there's sure to be a toboggan run to suit you.
