Very quickly after our creation in 1923 by Mario Colombo, the brand specialized in the production of ski clothing for professionals, dressing the Italian champion of the time: Leo Gasperl.
In the 70s, skiing gained popularity and Colmar became an essential brand in the ski world.
Today, Colmar is the official sponsor of several ski federations, notably the French Ski Federation, and equips the greatest champions.
Thanks to their constant commitment to research and purely Italian style, Colmar has become the world leader in the production of high-quality, technological and ultra-light ski clothing.
The brand was able to take advantage of its experience in the field of sport to create a new high-end sportswear brand: Colmar Originals.
These clothes are inspired by the historic archives of the Colmar house and once again feature the original logo of the brand which celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2013, with a look towards a future full of promise.
