A magnificent spot for all white-water sports
At the gateway to the Parc de la Vanoise, in the Tarentaise valley between Bourg Saint Maurice and Centron, Haute-Isère is regarded as one of Europe's leading living-water centres.
Embark on an exceptional descent that requires no previous experience, where you will discover the famous Aime rapids such as the dining room, the ham-cutting machine, the dessert... not forgetting the magnificent Centron gorges and its famous Roman bridge.
This river is a magnificent spot for all white-water sports: rafting, hydrospeed, canoe rafting... There are several routes to suit all tastes and abilities: a 7km descent of the gorges, a classic 16km descent or a 23km full descent. In its full version, the Haute Isère is the longest rafting course in France.
This activity is accessible to anyone who can swim. Each raft is led by a qualified guide and all the technical equipment is provided.
